Each power station will have to be conformed by two generating units. Both power stations will generate electrical energy from mineral coal that will be provided by the CDEEE, and will sell to a this last, certain amount of the energy that produces, on the basis of the stipulations of a contract of purchase of energy that will be established between the parts. That contract will denominate "Agreement of Transformation of Energy".

Each power station will be property of the company that awardee, which will also have the responsibility by its installation, beginning and operation during the time of the contract.

The company/signature awardee will assume the following obligations:

1. To sign the contract establishing the "Agreement of Transformation of Energy".
2. To sign contracts to renting the lands.
3. To give fulfillment to all the legal requirements applicable to agents who operate in the electrical sector of Dominican Republic, including the referring ones to environmental norms average.
4. To iniciate the civil and electromechanical works within the established time period.
5. To make all the works necessary to adapt de harbour and install a jetty and coal facilities for the coal import terminal.
6. To be ready for comercial operation of the power stations in the established time period.

   The CDEEE will assume the following obligations:

1. To construct lines of communication, that allows the evacuation of all the energy which they produced, in the established time of period.
2. To supply the coal requerid for the operation of the plants, delivered at the jetty of each site.
3. To buy the contractually determined quantity of energy produced at each site.

The interested ones will be able to downnload the Registry and Request form (*)  wich that properly full, it will be able to directly ask for the Terms of Reference and Documents Relative to the offices of the Bidding Committee, located in 6to floor of the central seat of CDEEE in the Av. Independence esq. Jimenez Moya, Center of the Heroes or to our direction of electronic mail: LicitacionPAC@electricidad-rd.gov.do the cost of the Terms of Reference and Relative Documents for the application of the prequalification will be of USS500.00, amount that can be paid directly or transferred a:

In the Registry and Request Form, must be briefed the number of transference and once received and weighed, the CDEEE it will send to the applicant the instructions for the downloading of these documents.
